I have a new respect for that group after seeing this clip. I was afraid they were going to push the beat and fuck up the groove like a lot of white rock bands do when trying to play soul music. But hell no, they were right there in the pocket! Not saying that they could top the Hi Rhythm Section, but Terry Kath gets those Teenie Hodges guitar fills right, and the horn section doesn't smother themselves all over the song like they would with their own tunes.
And replace Al Green with Usher or somebody more current, 'cause Fall Out Boy seem too generationally removed from what Al Green did. Not sure if FOB/Chicago is an accurate comparison.
