I'd heard a song here and a song there and liked them, but wasn't LOVING on them. Then there was that tepid comeback album that Louvin cut last year, which didn't really bowl me over.
Then I saw this country music pioneer live last week at a hippie coffeehouse and he killed it. Bought a copy of a Louvin greatest hits CD straight from the man himself, and already it's become a favorite of mine. Now I gotta investigate some Louvin Bros. records (but I wanna stay away from their gospel material)...

I celebrate the entire catalog. Their 2nd album (Our Favourite Shop) is an 80's pop-soul classic.
Recently heard Colin Blunstone's "Caroline Goodbye" for the first time. Really fantastic stuff!
