quiet storm appreciation

sorry if this is a tired subject--i've been away from from this forum for the past year so i'm not really aware of what has or has not been discussed...but anyway, i'm working on a couple of quiet storm mixes--the first of which is going to be some dark, bass heavy, grinding r&b--some jodeci, some monifa, definitely some ginuwine, etc.the second mix is just going to be some of the smoothest r&b i can find, old or new. some eugene wilde, some dwight sills, luther vandross, etc. i'm looking for some recommendations for either mix, but primarily the latter. the dark grinding shit i have pretty well covered, but the smoother mix could use a little help. for anyone in NY who listens to WBLS (107.5 fm) and has caught the EXTRA mellow guy that comes on around 10:00 pm--that's the vibe i'm looking for.

just some recommendations for smooth late 80s/early-mid 90s r&b--keith sweat, eugene wilde, etc. more specifically, smooth, over produced r&b songs. lots of saxophones. it's a style i'm kind of sheepishly getting into, and i'm just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction--artists or producers to look for, specific songs i should check out, etc.
