Lost iTunes Files??????

My computer froze and I had to unplug it to re-start. Now all my iTunes files are gone. It looks like the whole thing reset to the default setting as my background changed and everything. Any way to recover the lost files?

    i've never heard of a computer messing up so badly. i sympathize. what does tech support say?

    search for your music files in whatever folder(s) and drag those back into itunes

    I havn't tried tech support. Need to do that. I seached for the files and they just seem to be gone. It's very strange.
