Majors are coming out with more albums on vinyl these days, and there's some indie stuff worth getting too. I got a review copy of the forthcoming Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey album on CD and I plan on getting that on vinyl, same for John Ellis. The last "new" vinyl I bought was Little Brother's Getback[/b] and Pre's Epic Fits[/b]
I do like what Tru-Thoughts did with the Quantic Soul Orchestra album by having the 2LP's come with a CD. Some labels are taking cheap cuts by putting the same CD mastering (often times brickwalled) on the vinyl, and that's not going to work. Either do a good job or don't bother.
