taking apart the G3 Imac???

This one... Do these things come apart? I need to put an airport card in mine...anyone???

    "cracking imac case"

    you need to undo the screws on the bottom of the imac and then crack it open.. it puts up alot of resistance but it will open.

    Those two screws in the very bottom? the top just pops off?

    no there's mor than just two screws

    there's the screws on the bottom and also the two screws inside the trap door compartment.

    you should flip it upside down and put it on a towel or something to protect the monitor screen just in case.

    take out those screws and then you should be able to pull the bottom of the case off... mine usually sticks in the front something feirce but just have at it... it will feel like your going to break it but it will eventually pop out with a huge noise... again making you think its broken.. but ive cracked mine open dozens of times and never busted it.

    even had to take the rest of the cover off once to replace the harddrive.
