Yo everyone - don't mean to post anything ad-like on here, but I know lots of people on the Strut will be interested in this:SAMO MEDIA SUPER 300!It???s no secret that we here at SAMO media love vinyl. We press a lot of it and we think you should too. Now a lot of bands and artists out there don???t think vinyl???s within their reach; not only is that unfortunate, it???s just plain wrong. We???re gonna go ahead and get the ball rolling. The 300th person to email [email]contest@samomedia.com[/email] will win a run of 300 black vinyl 7??? records! That???s right. You got an album and we want to help. Hell, how about this? As a second place prize, the 1000th band/artist to email us will win free 7??? Lacquering, Mastering, and Transfer Engineering (valued at approx. $175 CDN) towards the completion of a run of 100 or more 7???s. So here???s what you do: email us at [email]contest@samomedia.com[/email] with your name, your band???s name, some real world contact info (address, phone #), your site, and web presence (even a myspace will do). Only one email per band/artist, please. Once we determine the winner, they will be contacted and their 300 7???s will be underway!Now, of course, we???re not made of money, so these are black vinyl 7??? records, no tests, one colour labels, in paper sleeves. All transfer engineering, lacquering, plating, and actual manufacturing IS included, but any shipping from Toronto is not.
