From wikipedia: "a mondegreen is the mishearing (usually unintentional) of a phrase as a homophone or near-homophone in such a way that it acquires a new meaning."Um, I can't think of any right now, but I just wanted to tout this new vocabulary word for misheard lyrics. I know someone put together a book of these a while back, which I think was called "Excuse me while I kiss this guy" (the sky).

All the world's waiting for you,
    and the power you possess.

    In your satin tights,
    Fighting for your rights

In my mind, the second line will always be
    ''she's got a big v*g*na for you''

Not so much misheard as willfully misrepresented

Sing it for days at work

As in, two people are talking behind me, and someone mentions "By the way, nice black eye."
