...why after more than twenty years of Funk revival For Sweet People From Sweet Charles still has not been reissued on CD? Or has it?

    They are, aren't they.
    But I am still buying them for the car.
    So the Soul Strut massive draws a blank here?
    Not even the Japanese have reissued it and it's just strange that there is no CD version available. The rights are with a major which has re-released and re-re-released just about everything JB related. I think the currently available vinyl version might be a bootleg, but Polydor did legally reissue the album on vinyl.
