This site was just sent on to me today by a guy I work with. His wife is a teacher at a public school, and turned to here for funding. Here request was matched in 10 hrs. Just wanted to share this for any of the teachers or spouses of teachers who post here. It basically works like this: 1. Teacher needs money for something specific in their classroom (ie textbooks, computers, etc.)2. He/She writes a mini-proposal for the website3. The public can look through the proposals and donate money to projects they deem deserving.Private financing of the public school system at its best.
