went to post offices and postal stores in multiple cities in so-cal...no sign of flat cardboard record mailers...wheres the secret stash yall???

  • i know aron's sells them if u are desperate for like 80 cents a piece. otherwise there is the one main website every gets their mailers from and resells them. the name escapes me right now. someone should be able to help you out.

    If you are talking about the priority boxes they give away at the PO, don't use them, you will eventually run into problems. Uline.com has the best socal price -- about 64 cents a mailer at 100 per. Picking up it a bit of a bitch but it can be done in two hours if you are really wailing.

    Go to a grocery store, find the produce department, ask them for boxes, and make your own.

    there are a couple box city's in LA. i'm not sure of the price but I think they are about 60-75 cents per box. don't have to wait for the mail order.

    out here in Japan I have to pay $1.50 a mailer and there's only one store I found who sells them!!!! -THEN- I gotta haul them home... back in Australia I got 100s of these things lying around! such a pain!

    I just buy as much shit online as I can to re-use them.

  • Does anyone know if there's a wholesaler in the Bay Area that sells LP mailers? I've been using Brasspack to get my mailers but paying for fedex shipping is killing me.

    call wade up at jacks record seller. tell him that youre a pal of mine and josh bea's. i cant remember the spot name but theyre like 61cents or some shit like that. i buy about 200 every three weeks or so. a lot of us work with wade on buying boxes...

    i think its called apollo or some shit like that... josh might have the info as well...
