I just rummaged through a load of shit over at Amoeba over lunch break. I did however find Al Green "I'm still in love with you" for 3 bucks, so i passed it on to a dude looking for soul records in the dollar bin. I felt good after showing him the way.Weather-wise, heavy rain these past few days in LA. Apparently there was a tornado warning in Long Beach. What the fuck? What is up people?

    Duran Duran is recording a performance for the BBC in one of our studios. Every woman in the building under the age of 55 is bugging out. I've been asked over half a dozen times if I'm coming down to gawk through the window of the studio with everyone else.

    Just a couple days ago, I was pleasantly surprised to find some interesting stuff. But overall, I never expect anything out of that place.

    In about an hour, my lady and I are using our gift certificate to eat at Lucille's BBQ. You guys ever been there? It kinda has a southerny, bluesy, speakeasy like vibe. The veggie burgers and side orders are damn good and the beer on tap makes up for the rest.

    Just got done with a week long beat project and now I feel stressed because I'm not doing anything. As long as it's my project, I'm a total workaholic. Always gotta be busy since I pissed away my early 20's on Frickin' around. Nothing wrong with that but now I'm making up for lost time.

    someone sent me a link to these joints earlier today. i want one but can't see myself wearing it...

    this weekend is a heat wave! we are supposed to get back up to 30! a welcome change from the negative temps of this last week.

    my weekend looks like this: tonight, play from 10-2, tomorrow morning hit the gym (noon is morning to me), play at metropark at the mall of america from 3-7, then off to do rhymesayers radio from 9-11. then rush downtown to do the second half of our night until 2am. sunday is for laundry and converting as many records as i can to mp3s (new laptop as of last week! 1246 mp3s already and more on the way!) probably go to get some new duds and watch a movie on the couch as the day gets later. mon-tues i took off to relax and might get some dinner with a nice lady.
