It's gone for more than this a few years ago.

  • not a bad record form the sounds of it, but defintiely not worth the $$$.

    This description cracked me up:

An amazing mid 90s old school rap record.

Dude, get used to it. Back in the 90's, records from the mid-80's were 'old school'.

And as much as it makes me feel like a codger, mid-90's records are older now than the 80's records were then.

  • as far as ai know france is to blame for those particular prices. there was this french Dj (i dont remember his name right now, damn my memory aint the same) who had their stuff on his tapes first.
    never heard that 12" though,
but i know another one by them and while its good it definitely aint worth the price it gets on the bay.

I'm glad a few of the mid-90s Baltimore records are getting some shine. The city deserves it after being thoroughly ignored by the hip hop world in it's prime.

Plus they're relatively easy for me to grip and flip.

If you think this record is easy to find you are DEFINATELY WRONG!EXTREMELY SCARCE and HUGELY INDEMAND INDIE RAP 12" with awesome dope beats,a smooth flow and perfect rap vocals. An amazing hip hop banger produced by SPARROW on this tiny indie hip hop label.[/b]

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW! The description is pure comedy.

I traded that record to another strutter for a Frickin' UNKLE record. And also this record had Aaron LaCrate involved.

But is this record any good?

Is my Erule "listen up" 12" worth anything?

  • "rhyme impotence...you can't get hard cause you ain't that hard."

    I hate that song

  • erule isnt worth too much. used to be worth more. its dope as fuck though

sparrows second record is kinda nice...."fly,fly"
the producer lives in philly now and is an excellent individual

try finding any good early/mid90s indy joints and youll see why theyre worth dough. shit dried up.

I trust this. I'm sure they're just as rare as a lot of the random rap joints. I just cram to understand musically why this is sought after. I mean everyone has their own tastes but I just don't get this. There are just so many better hip-hop records to be had.

most people also dont understand why other dudes collect rock/soul/funk/whatever records

Some dudes already have those records, though. What they don't have is the Sparrow record.

yeah, its him i meant. the prices for Sparrow's - rhyme impotence got up after they were on one of his tapes. before that no-one bought that shit probably not even for a few bucks. similar to those random rap 12"es that are going for crazy prizes since the hear no evil mixes.
not saying the track aint aight, but you know what i mean.
