Produce Her Strut - Instrument Related

What's the name of the Indian instrument that sounds like a cross between a sitar and a guitar? I'm desperately looking for a patch, soundfont, or some samples of this instrument. I'm rebuilding a sample for a project that's due on Wedensday. Knowing the name and being educated about an instrument I'm using in a song is a novel idea. Do we do that here? Never been a Gearslutz kinda guy.
