    Nah, that was off their debut Ep - El Producto.

    They got damn good after that.

    Still, it was an amusing track I thought.

    is that the one they never came out because of sample clearance bullshit? where they sampled madonna or something?

    They sampled madonna on Since I Left You, which was their last album.

    Madonna ganted clearance for that though, and that was the sample they most feared in terms of clearence.

    El Producto was a pretty limited release.

    Have you got Since I Left You ?..... Masterpiece of sampling, that.

    but wasn't there an earlier version of since I left you (with a different title i think) that had more samples that they couldn't clear? i seem to remember reading that somewhere.

    since i left you is my shit. probably the most creative sample-based albums in the past five years. they took sample compsition in a really beautiful (and fun) direction. I'm still not really clear on how they do their songs...there's like five dudes right? i heard one of the guys only job in the band is the clear samples.
