I talked to John, Farout's owner, and he said there won't be any vinyl release.
Re posting files here: if the mp3s are inside a folder, make a zip file of it. Then go to www.zshare.net or www.divshare.com and upload the zip file there. After uploading is finished, they'll give you a link; post the link here.

aah, you beet me to it Moog man.
I need more music like this in my Life.
When I travel to South America I'm going to look you up.
Once I learn portugese I'll fit in like I was an extra in City of God.

Yeah, come to Brazil and I'll take you to a tour on Cidade de Deus.
Just kidding; if you ever come here it'll be a pleasure meeting you.
I have seen this link but I thought a while ago they also mentioned a vinyl release.
I have the Jose Mauro album on my computer. How can I post it here? Let me know and I'll get it sorted.

I'm pretty much of an ass with computers...what's a good programm to use for making a zipfile?
the latter was definitely an acquired taste but I'm glad I put in the time... the arrangements are incredible.
Man... that is one of my favorite brazilian albums that I own....not that I have a lot of them but his vocals and the arrangements are
definitely a necessary album.
yup. the late, great Rogerio Duprat (who worked on most of the prominent Tropicalia albums) arranged about 1/2 that record, although all the tracks are intricate and intriguing.
One of my faves... stupidly passed on it a while ago cuz I had already dropped a good amount on O Bando and Rubinho. Went back to dude a little later and it was gone. Doh!
Definitely more on the raw, earthy side than most of the records discussed so far (as the cover definitely suggests), but for some reason this thread brought this record to mind:
