I have "Pawn Hearts" and "Godbluff" and neither album gets any play except when I'm trying to slim down my collection. I give them a listen and something compels me to hang on to them, but I'll still never listen to them.

IMO, van der graaf generator are the hippest semi-mainstream prog group besides Can... they have a lot of weirdness and darkness to them and Peter Hammil is a great songwriter...

i feel you i sold their entire discography off a collection i caught awhile back

could not get into them...but the guy at the store bought doubles and sold them all so i guess there is demand

I can't ride for all of Van Der graaf's catalog. Guy Evans is Undeniable, especially on Theme one. Nasty.
