New Year's in Rome: What's Buono?

Mrs. Hogg and I will be spending a few days in Firenze, then heading down to Roma on the 31st of December, staying for a week. Anything poppin' off for New Year's? We may end up just kickin' in it a piazza with a pizza and some Pisano paisanos, but if there's something we should know about, let us know about it.Grazie.
