I know their are tons of these out there now since the acapellas hit the streets, what's the best you have heard yet? All I have really seen are corny ass "mash-up" concepts..that all looked so Frickin' wack, that I would never bother downloading. I am downloading this "Beirut Gangster" that was posted in the Real Headz..and I am hoping it was worth the wait(download time). Anyone heard any good ones worth checking for? Single remixes, mixtapes, remixed LP style..whatevers clever.

I just downloaded the Elvis one from soul cooking (?).

very fresh and laidback beats, Jayz sounds better on it...although dont know where the elvis comes into it cus the breaks sound too fresh, and there aint any real Elvis vocal liftts in it....

    Loko

someone should do a mix up with jigga over dilla beats...

I saw that online. I heard it wasnt the big Elvis titles used in it..maybe that is why it didnt sound familiar?

  • I guess this is where others can post remixes they did too?

If that's the case, here's my Ignorant Shit remix.

  • I've only listened to the Beirut Music remixes so far and most of the project sounds legit. check the link below to follow up on a slab of remixes already out.

I would just like to hear a solid effort at remixing the whole album. I'm not looking for "concepts" really..just giving it a different sound.

Yeah I was joking. I would have been surprised if someone hadn't thought of that one yet.
The real one I'm doing is called American GangBang. It's gonna be made up of all lowrider oldies and audio from an old Jasmin St. Claire vhs.

I just found out Benzi was from Ann Arbor... bugged. A semi-major dude with absolutely no presence in his immediate surrounding...

  • The "Beirut Gangster" mixtape is miles ahead of anything I've heard so far...
