My Pops has a running list of music he wants for his funeral on a tattered legal pad at his house. The first three tracks are: "I Just Wanna Celebrate" by the Rare Earth, "Jet Airliner" by the Steve Miller Band, and "The End". Apparently, this was a favorite game for he and his buddies to play at the PX in Da Nang.

My best friend and i had talked/joked about this years ago and i decided a little "surprise" performance could go down a treat. So it would be Carmina Burana and an open casket. As the music starts to build my body would quickly sit up and then i would be doing robot type moves (controlled above by a puppet master- marionette style) to the music.b,121b,121Was just a thought...

Not so much a song I would play at my own funeral but a great song to play after you loose someone close to youb,121b,121'Basta de llamarme asi" Los Fabuloso Cadillacs
I haven't pictured my death in a long time. If I'm at all lucky, I'll be in the comfort of my own home with the stereo on, not in too much pain and having come to terms with the whole thing...probably some classical Persian music is what I'd like to hear on my way out.

"When the shit goes down" would also be acceptable.
