Long-term storage feedback needed (RR)

I have at least 30 U-Haul boxes in my garage right now stacked in twos. Now, however, I am needing to put my wax in storage for a bit. My thought is to move them from the U-Haul boxes into plastic bins just in case I have to have them in storage longer than expected.I've checked Target but I'm looking for the "right size" ones like the U-Haul boxes. Any suggestions?

I would probably just go with the boxes. Is moisture/humidity a foreseeable problem?

  • Actually good point...it's going to be climate controlled and in one of those storage spots that is inside an actual building...so the U-Haul boxes should be okay then?

I would maybe elevate them on something just in case water does somehow get into the room. Maybe also cover them with a plastic tarp.

I'm not sure how well those UPS boxes stack though. I probably wouldn't go more than three high, with two high being preferable. Those boxes are heavy. If I had that many to move, I'd buy/rent a handtruck.
