    Thats cool. Yea spankrock definately like to flip whatever style is becoming trendy... first it was b-more club... now its bass.... then again... spank rock is fun as shit in the club... at least some of their cuts offa yoyoyoyoyo were.

    I'd pick el-p over spankrock anyday tho.

    I think both have their place. Spankrock has some fun stuff and works well in the club. El-P is a good producer and I like him as an artist. Both belong to the hip crowd, just at opposite spectrums.

    I think being a label head/artist and randomly dissing someone on video is not a good look. I guess it can bring attention (and maybe sales) to you through gossip/blogoshpere, but publicly dissing people is pretty little dude no matter who you are or who you're dissing. I'm guessing he was drunk and not really thinking, but either way, there's no real point to it.

    Spank Rock gets not butt from Nerd Rap. They're not smart enough, they're way too , and Grand Buffet got here first (plus Grand Buffet is the real deal on the beats and the mic). Nerd rappers definitely get the pooswah, but it's usually from crazy girls.

    This is the problem of the internet (the semantics geek in me is about to be revealed):

    - If the above statement means that you have no respect for nerd rap, I agree wholeheartedly.

    - If the above statement is purely literal, then I'd say fine, but it gets too much respect for the fake hipster bulls**t that it is.

    - If the above statement implies that nerd rap should get more respect, then that is idiotic.

    I guess I just assumed that it was the third one, when really, your statement could have meant any one of those things.

    I dig spankrock mainly for the fact that they inject a little fun into music. Most of them also seem like cool peoples. Their music is what it is. I'd rather go out and party to some spankrock then sit home and listen to EL-P or go to an EL-P sausage party and watch a bunch of beards head nod.

    I also dig the fact that Spankrock had Santogold on some tracks -- cot damn is she fly and got pipes too.

    Man El-P is lit in the video. I kinda agree with him on the Bangers and Cash shit but oh well.
