Just came home and put on the AOL sketchy Live 8 feed...only good music I've seen so far is Snoop Dogg, he tore it up...although they keep showing crowd shots of confused British "geezers."Anyway - the best thing I heard by far, was a montage of speech and sermon excerpts by Martin Luther King, Jr. Powerful as can be. The man could speak, and move you - he was speaking on this shit 40 years ago, and heads still ain't caught up. They showed images of the 8 heads of state, "they will rise up and BREAK YOUR BACK" from MLK as they showed GWB.Damn straight.AOL needs to let me pick what I wanna watch, though, cause I ain't sitting through Faith Hill to see Pink Floyd. Damn.Does anyone think an event like this has influence? I honestly don't know.
