but i actually had fun looking through records today, which is a rarity lately...
Love the drum on it. Actually I like that whole track with the drum alot.
the entire album has a great vibe to it. just found it last week myself, and it's hardly come off the turntable since...
Yes! I will be taking this and putting into the great monments in drumming thread by the way.
Mt. San Antonio College Jazz 1 - We're On The Move (1979)
predecessor to this one I found a while back:
I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet as I picked it up on my lunch break today.
$5 Buy It Now on eBay. Still sealed..
you can find this record for 15 to20 bucks around here, only because someone sampled it. I saw stacks of this record 4 to 5 years ago at antique shops and they couldn't give this record away. !!! The record game is funny some times.
It's everywhere here, for $1-$5. I see it every day.
I have NEVER seen the OG, though - it's a reissue of
a 1969 UK Blue Horizon LP, which goes for crazy money
when offered for sale. Love to have the OG, it probably
sounds alot better than the mid-70's pressing US reissue.
yeah, i used to see it a lot but never picked it up. my copy was $2 but its in great shape. mostly got it for the break so i havent given it a good listen yet.
Been pretty busy lately, from the last two weeks:
plus two basically unused Technics SL-1200MK2s with cartridges, needles, and hardcases.
MCF
hmmmm...let me weigh this against the chrsistine mcvie score
i dont know that gil evans record
and i am not a big proponent of man make up
but he's got some real emperor palpatine wrinkle action going on in the cover pic
gottam
"The Tushey Song!"
What the hell is that?!
All of those records you posted look pretty crazy..
How's that "Radiation Funk" 45?
Round Two with some super solid dub etc.
Nothing ??ber rare but all great records.
