highly underrated and under appreciated...been puttn in work for a loooong time and deserves alot of credit/respect...he did 'Thiefs Theme' i believe, so dope nas used it twice (loop)...also some Fugees rmx, Vocab i think, that were also flavor...nothin but respect for the man
Word...the "Nappy Heads" rmx was the shit. Can't forget Da Bush Babees, "Remember We" and such...I wouldn't have listen to the Fugees if it wasn't for Remi. And y'all know yall liked the "made you look" beat when it got leaked. Don't lie!
He was a pretty good remixer back in the 90's. He usually outshined the original version 99% of the time. And i really liked his drum game. Tight. I can't believe people can underestimate this dude WHILE knowing his disco. But that's just me.
I can't get into his Nas production either, but he's a producer I always check for. There was a Born Jamericans remix of his that I used to play the instrumental of all the time. I stumbled on his equipment list earlier today and was impressed:
Dude has got some shit under his belt, already mentioned, that I think is pretty damn good. Didn't he do "Made U Look" by Nas? Could be mistaken here...

i don't see the resemblance
B: seems like thier are more remi threads, than any other producer.
Thought this was done by Buckwild.

he did the original.
Is there (ahem) anyway to get this? I missed it when it came out...
i could do with hearing a bit less of him on nas records.
he comes with heat sometimes though, and the man has some classics, so i cant really hate.
but streets disciple? ehhhhh
he's been around for like 15+ years
This slipped under my radar when it came out, but I just found it a few weeks ago and it is a new fav from him.
Remi never struck me as the most innovative producer, but his craftsmenship is impeccable.
yo...
prolly, he produced alot of Ms Dynamite's first LP... "Dy-Na-Myt-EE" is a great track...
