Yes! Definitely one of his top 5 remixes. The cuts on there are mad simple but I'll always remember them. I'd have to say Jump Around and Shut Em Down are tied for #1, but I'm sure someone will remind me of another joint and I'll have to change my answer.
They played this last nigth on KMEL, and honestly that shit is wack. Especially compared to the original. which is definetly a personal classic to me. Hi-Tek killed it.

I thought we were talking about Pete Rock? If dude happens to like this particular PR mix on its own, then fair enough.
However, in MY books PR > Hi-Tek, so I couldn't ever agree that Respiration is the #1 best PR remix -- he simply got out-classed on that particular one **SUBQUESTION: is it worth doing a remix when you're not going to do it better than the OG?**

such a great remix. Some other good ones have already been mentioned like: Shut em Down and Jump Around remixes.
gangstarr - militia remix
A fav of mine as well. File under songs where the original version might as well not exist.
"Jussumen that's on the mic..." Also, I gotta rep "Real Hip-Hop."
Peace,
Big Stacks from Kakalak

That one shouldn't even be allowed in the competition.
Maybe as a Remixer, but dude was popular way before that single.

Bugging.
C'mon yo....maybe the Remix on it's own it's like a OKAY hip-hop song, but the O.G. crushes it. Speaking of "Crushing", Paychecks knows the time.
AY YO?
I remember on some old mixtape that you made you where cutting up "shining like like like like who who who on top this-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s".
