Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings are doing the WOMAD circuit this year.... finally, a chance to catch 'em live in NZ. Apparently doing 2 nights in New Plymouth. Shit yeah.Mavis Staples and Cesaria Evora too. Nice. Plus the usual collection of average local hippy world music dross. Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.Last year I caught some of that desert blues from Sahara.... H.E.A.V.Y

    Missed her last time, and she did three shows in Melbourne
    Truth be told, they sold out with the quickness
    Amazing itself, as the funk had really struggled to get much of a crowd here for a long time before that
