Dope tracks in weak commercials?!

One of m all-time favorite tracks (Piet Van Meren - "Mr. Buzz") - at least the flute part - has been used as background music for a German TV commercial for chicken meat! A company that produces German Wurst and meat uses one of the best Jazz FUnk tunes out there!!! 
It really destroys any cool association with the song! I can't listen to it any more. And I could never play the song at a club. What would the people think? "Hey, he plays that chicken meat song from TV!? What a crank case!"What dumb asshole recommended the track to the Wurst company? He must have been in the know! Any similar cases? I bet there tons of abused Funk and Jazz tunes! Let me know!
