Assuming the world's still standing and people still have hobbies and disposable income, what genres/labels/scenes from our current decade[/b], if any, would you predict they'll be digging for on vinyl 30 years hence?

  • Even though we will all die in 2012 anyway, I would imagine we would be digging small runs of private burn CD RAERS.

The thought of collecting records at 60 is just too sad.

I hope I still love music at 60 as much or more as I do now, given that I won't be able to taste my food as well anymore and I have to imagine my sex life'll be pretty well dried up.

But I meant to suggest a new generation of strutters circa 2037...

I gotta disagree, the nicest, coolest, most friendly dealer/collector, DJ I know is a dude in his 60s...he is in the rockabilly game, but you wont meet a better person...

although he is looking to sell his collection...anybody need a top shelf rockabilly 45 collection?...I think he is asking $150,000...

We all don't have to die. Just make sure to be deep inside a sturdy cave while the sky is falling, then make sure to get the hell out of there to a wide open space once the tail of Planet X passes and then the Earth's pole shift ensues.

I hope to be alive. Dudes die young in my clan. I'd like to see some grandkids.
