Anybody know these dudes? They put out the Soulful Thangs series of comps which i think are all pretty much heat! They got a couple latin comps that are also crazy too. I think they are out of the bay area.

Unlike a lot of other low-budget comps, there's a lot of genuine rarities on those Soulful Thangs comps. Of course, I doubt any of the material is licensed from the artists, but they're still a good way to hear the music. I've wondered about their identities as well. Surely someone from the Bay Area has worked with them in the past.

you should hit up a swapmeet. there are some that are better than soulful thangs. theres a comps out of texas southside soul or something like that. san antonio soul. theres a new batch i really like called something like from the SGV to 323.
