I think to do it properly you supposed to put them on a sit in a hot bath, but I would think the dye would stain your legs, you would look like some half-assed maori...
but I ride for the 517s..the shits that are super dark blue and like cardboard when ya buy 'em, plus the boot cuts have a nice 70s style flaired cuff, throwbacks like myself dig that about them......I wear them raw.
Oh yea! All this shoe talk reminds me! Broke my rule and bought a pair of skinnys - dark denim, under $120 bucks (at Winners, down from $250) and made by Imitation (of Christ). Hurrah!
