A record legend coast to coast who was doin it before most passed away last night. Some of you may not know him, some may know him simply as Martin. He was the man here in LA as well as in the industry in NYC, and if you knew him you never forgot him. Records for days and if he didn't have it he could most likely get it, whether it was new or old he was really one of the kings as far as records, collecting and just with the knowledge of music. If you were involved in hip-hop in the early 90s before Fatbeats was in LA his store (our present location) was THE spot in LA. Him and Bigga B (creator of UNITY) were bringing out acts like Biggie, Black Moon, Wu-tang, Dimaond D, Common and on and on and on before anyone would really mess with them on the west coast.His knowledge and love of music, personality, and friendship will be truly missed.RIP
