This coming Friday, September 28th, Soulpower hosts its first party in Washington, DC. On the decks: Perry Louis, resident DJ at Jazz Cafe, London, UK, and DJ Pari (RVA).Perry is known for his selective taste in Funk 45s and Jazz sides, as well as from the cover photos of the German Mojo Club compilation series. He is also a successful Jazz dancer with his group Jazzcotech. DJ Pari just recently moved from Germany to Richmond, Virginia. He has toured with James Brown and is currently running the Soulpower organization that manages and produces artists like Marva Whitney, Gwen McCrae, Lyn Collins and many more. Pari is co-producer of Marva Whitney's current album "I am what I am".Together, both have DJed all over the world, from Europe to Japan to the US.
