Street Sounds is one of my favs having many memories of playing them over the years. It's certainly a great place for anyone to enjoy lots of rare titles that cost a good deal of money. My favorite record day post. I have all those except 21 on vinyl. I even got the box set and the bonus 7"... you are a legend man... I can't wait to get these and chuck em in itunes and listen... brings back memories yo! Those were essential in my learning of rap/electro.

I must have Vol 5 somewhere, I'll dig around and see if I can find it.
Also, on an Electro street sounds tip, anyone know what the story is with the UK electro lp? I seem to remember years ago reading that it was just two producers who knocked the whole thing out. Something along the lines of Streetsounds needed an LP, but didn't have any material. Obviously theres the Broken Glass track, which I think came from a different source, but tracks like Music have a harder, less hip hop edge than the usual electro lps. In fact, more 'electro' than the hip-hop centred US volumes. Anyone know the story?
im pretty sure it was a 12" not a 7". i got the 12" with mine anyway.
i spent most my youth listening to these comps. still after a few of the 12's though.
