My listening habits frequently swing from genre-to-genre, and lately I've really been enjoying funky-jazz/jazz funk/'soul jazz'; two LPs I've been hammering at home and at a couple of different bar gigs are Onsaya Joy by Groove Holmes and Excursions by Eddie Harris - I'd love a copy of Wahoo by Wayne Carter, what else should I Root Down to?Also worth check for some British Jazz (inc. a f*cking ace Ian Carr track) is this thread on Vinyl Vulture.

Cool, I'll definately be giving those a listen (I already have your Beatles covers mix). Last time I played Eddie Harris Listen Here Goes Funky I got talking to a guy who asked me who was covering the Brian Auger song - will be pleased to listen to Auger's version & compare them.
