IPOD VIDEO CONVERTING FOR MAC

hi, i need a program so i can convert videos into the format MP4 (then i can view them on my ipod) i got movies in AVI (Borat) and WMV (Beatdiggin) that im trying to import, but it does only support my MP4 files (Talladega Night & a LRG skateboarding movie). can someone teach me how to convert AVI/MPEG/WMV into MP4?im using a mac so i need programs that works for mac.thanksfred
