I did like Bahamadia's first album. MC Lyte never really did it for me.

only, no i would put Roxanne Shante up with Lyte as well, even Latifah in her prime was killing it... But yes Lyte tops them all.
Roxanne Shante made some great tracks, as did Latifah. But, unlike Lyte, I don't think either one of them belongs in a conversation about the alltime great rappers. I think Lyte is right there with her male contemporaries.

Alot of Shante hits were ghost written by the other Juice Crew members, and that knocks her down a notch for me placing her in the top tier MC's.
