Can someone explain the baller appeal of that Latinos album?
i had that record as part of a collection i bought a couple of years ago, and i think i resold it for a dollar because i thought it was an absolute terd.
How's the Everlife lp? I have the single off it (You're My Superhero) and that track is just ok, but I figure the lp must have better cuts than that given how much it sells for.
I haven't heard most of the records on the "wall." I do like that Truth & Devotion LP (Heaven At Last) although I sold both my copies so I guess I can't say it was essential to me. Same goes with the Cult album.
i love my local record store. all they have on the wall is beatles and hendrix records, and if they can't find a record on ebay they sell it for anywhere between 1 and 5 dollars.

It's alright...more in a sweet soul/late 70's disco vein than the synth-boogie I expected from its early-80's release date. "You Are My Lucky Star" is the standout IMO. I've got the considerably cheaper version with the generic 12" sleeve.

hmmm. my copy doesn't have "You're My Superhero" on it. it does however have one killer uptempo track "It's Time To Love" and three great ballads. the rest of it is

Essential for me, strictly due to my geographic locale... I always think I will eventually score the girl cover at some point out here in Vegas, but after several years, nada. I do dig up the horse covers (blue and brown) from time to time though...and on a side note, it's widley speculated that the girl cover is the first pressing, but I believe it to be the 3rd pressing (or 2nd at best). Reason being, the 45 issued from the LP shares the same label design as the brown horse cover LP, which is kind of a rudimentary 3-D letter design. The label design on both the blue horse and girl covers share a slicker design, one that better matches an actual "Starburst" if you will. This site shows all 3 covers, couldn't find any label scans online...

Need it, need it, need it, got it, need it, need it....
Really though the Lovelites and the Whispers are probably the only really "so necessary" records in that picture.
No Sam Cooke?
Also, that Miracles LP should be included in the "necessary" list.
Oh definitely Sam Cooke...Just don't know if I need those particular LPs.
Can't hate on the Canuck Funk Don's....
Hitch-Hikers is
Isn't that Moods LP supposed to be some hot ish??
The money it goes for makes one thing it would
be, but it also has potential for dull tepidity.
You do, trust me.
Also, that Miracles album is killer and oh so
No, no good. None of you little dudes would be interested.
and RnB/early soul goodness...
it is a rather odd mix...
Oh, I didn't see that up there. Yeah, no good at all.

God, I hope not.

at least i made $.97 profit off of it...
I also dig the Bobby Glenn LP. "Hey Love" is great. Should be availeble for around $50. A nice LP for the money IMO.

Also, it was reissued on CD earlier this year.
