I'll be there on Sat thru Thurs. Haven't been in 14 years. Aside from the obvious strip joint/casino/club route, what else is good?

a few recommendations:
Luv-It Custard - 505 E. Oakey Blvd (closed Sunday & Monday)
Lotus of Siam - 953 E. Sahara Ave (amazing Thai food)
if you must hit "the clubs", Tao on Wednesdays the only safe bet if you wanna hear good music, thanks to my boys Tonearm Robbery and 8-bits.
the record digs are not great, only a few stores remain (4 have closed in the past year). Wax Trax is always stocked with raers, but as many people say: proceed with caution. He's always good to me however....
Basically Doeizm has ALLLLL the good records in Vegas haha. Peep his set sale list for some heaters, but he has the dopest trade list this side of eternity.
Siam is a good look, order the ORANGE CHICKEN!
Couple of FREE local shows DEF worth checking out.
Sunday, August 26 @ midnight
UBERSCHALL (featuring musicians from the Blue Man Group)
Really good Vegas Prog/psych/jam/rock band. I'll definitely be at this.
Monday, August 27 @ 8 p.m.

Couple of metal bands and Rex Dart from my crew on the decks. Rex's night does this, Don't like the record they're playing? SMASH IT with our Ass Juice hammer! More Double down Fun.

I saw people walking around The Orleans with Magic ids on Tuesday - was it a week long convention???
clear your PMs...
I belive it's from Monday - Thursday. I'm heading up to. My Dad has a booth and I like walking around and checking out the different sections of the convention center. Such a weird mix of styles/people.
