East Bay Area Soul/Funk Musicians Still Playing

The top 10 concerts thread got me thinking about how I need to get off my ass and see more live music, and wondering if any of the artists playing in the late 60s early 70s East Bay scene are still playing at all locally. Anyone have any reccomendations of people who are still in 2007? I don't want to be kicking myself when they stop playing out / pass away.
