anyone using a higher end cart for digitizing?

I dj with my trusty 44-7s but am looking into picking up something that will pick up more detail/ provide a more accurate recording when digitizing.any recommendations? I want something good. I realize that there are many factors that go into better sound. One could take it to stupid levels like isolating the table from the ground and whatnot. im not there yet. first the cart gets an upgrade, then a better phono preamp, cables, upgrades to the 1200 or possibly a new deck, then new interface.right now im doing this: 44-7>1200>rane empath>yamaha i88x>macbooki think I recall some strutters with dynavector and some other brands. thoughts on your carts?i dont want to drop crazy money right off the bat. 300ish is what im thinking.
