My son totally rides for this record

Literally. I knew I saved this record for good reason. This picture does not really do justice, but when I put this on, he went into this zonked out zone mode unlike anything I've seen. What do your kids ride for?ps-he usually maxes at about 10 mins in that swing. he rode through two consecutive plays of side one this time.

    I bought those for $20 at a yard sale in Spartanburg South Carolina from the dude who produced the Marshall Tucker Band.


    Which reminds me of something I been wanting to ask you. Do folks down there get into the 38 Special and stuff like that?

    Not me. Before searching youtube for Curious George videos for my girl, I had never consciously heard any Jack Johnson music and only knew of him from surf magazines.

    I copped a bunch of those Environments albums for ??1 a pop at a charity shop a few years back, but this one wasn't amongst them. I could imagine they'd prove pretty useful for chilling out the young'uns. Volume 6, "Dawn/Dusk In Okefenokee", is cool. There's supposed to be one volume that's a recording of a "be-in" somewhere on the West Coast, which sounds like it might be interesting too.

    My one year old grooves to everything, put the music on and she is shaking and shimmying all over.

    My six year old who loved everything, now mainly tunes out music. I'll ask her what she thinks of a song that's playing and she'll say "What song?"
    Also when she wants something she'll ask saying, "Pretty please with a record on top."
