If there's already been (a) thread(s) about this, or everyone's already familiar, many pardons. http://www.joshreads.com/Blog wherein this guy reads each day's comic strips and shouts back at them. But it's not really the Mystery Science Theatre of comics -- while his comments can be extremely amusing, what really fascinates me is how much energy he puts into following continuing storylines, archiving past narratives and punchlines, criticizing coloring and composition of the artwork, etc.The general vibe is of someone who grew up totally in love with the "funny pages" and as an adult just can't get his head around how truly awful they are. But he can't just move on... perhaps out of lingering affection, or a feeling of being cheated, he's compelled to keep returning day after day in the hopes that he'll wake up to find that the stories, characters, and artwork are finally challenging and rewarding.
