...did eBay used to let you change the content of your listing title a few days after posting it? I wanted to change a word or two to make something pop up on more people's saved searches, but when I clicked revise it's all locked. Is this a recent change?

    is it bid on?

yeah, if it's got bids you can't. That's nothing new. otherwise you could trick your bidders into bidding on a sealed Boscoe, only finding out later that they bid on "The leanest sausage meat available."

no bids, you can revise it.

even with no bids on, I think you can't revise an item in the last 24 hours of the auction.

    AM I WRONG???????????

yeah, there's a time limit. I believe it is the last 24 hours. Up until then if you have no bids you can change the listing details, even the price.

I think you can ADD to the description but you can't CHANGE it once it has a bid. Or at least that's how it was last time I listed something.
