Anyone got this one yet? The Odyssey Studios mix of the album and the unreleased "Nuclear Juice" are pretty facemelt IMO.

Got it yesterday. Its pretty crazy. Marvin was kinda tryin to rap on a couple songs, talking bout riding in the Benz and gettin good dome.lol
I will cop this today.
Though not one of my favorite Marvin albums it does contains some real good joints.
They better have some extensive linear notes in this bitch.
If you were to try and give this to a regular/casual Marvin fan, mofos would be st8 lost.
Shit is more out there than Here My Dear.IMO.
If you're in Chicago, Dusty Groove should have it.
Good damn job by whomever got this together.
Marvin's OG version of the album does have a better feel but I can see why Motown "polished" them up.
Great Liner notes as well.
That story about the kid who collects studio reels and happened to have an OG master sittin' in his collectron.
Marvin Fans - this is a MustCop
is the new version of 'heavy love affair' any different than the OG?
I dont have it here at work, but i think the mixdowns are have subtle changes as well as the way the vocals are layed down.
I'm copping it now. I don't know why that record barely gets mentioned. It's not his most cohesive album overall, but it has some incredible songs on there. "Heavy Love Affair", "Life Is For Learning" (my SHIT), "Funk Me", etc.
Can't wait to check this out
Straight Cosine on that shit right there... I love this album
Looks like an obvious "Must Cop" for me

--relax...no "remixing" going down.
i engineer on the side. and with major studios going down by the hundreds --the only studios left are the ones owned by artists.
so every once in a while i do them a solid and engineer and mix a demo cut or bonus song (i begged to do the "sparrow" demo) there are alot of gems on the bonus disc.
this will be available sept i think.
motherfucking X1000
HOLY FUCK!!!!!
There is already a "repackaged" Motown version that came out in the 90's. It was well done.
David Ritz did his usual thing in the liner notes.
To think they have a gang of shit in the vaults to add to this album.......
I might shit on myself.
