the storyline for labyrinth is a little easier to follow. though as a whole i dont think this holds up against dark crystal.
aughra and her one eye is one of my favorite characters in the movie. i just really like her observatory. those planets and heavens all rotating and moving about. i used to bug out on that when i was a kid watching it. though its wack when she gets captured. plus her popping her eye out was cool!
the gelfling faces kinda creep me out though... and the blades that the skeksis use look cool as well.

BAN.
elise, there's (one) grown persons talmbout serious puppet movies here.
take your magic dance to the lilith fair(e).
you must be an idiot.
magic dance was in Labyrinth, fool. Unless, you already knew that, you're still an idiot.
*sigh* oh, elise....
plaese to take that to the pictures of kala thread.
that's legit. I associate a lot of shows with having to relinquish the TV to a sibling or having to go to bed.
others?
Labyrinth would have been better with R Kelly as the lead.
oh god someone please make this happen
Bowie and a young Jennifer Connolly?
you sound glam rockist.
someone pitch this to Quincy Jones.
but who will play Connelly?
I won't lie???I dig a lot of glam stuff. But it's Jennifer Connolly that really does it for me.

Labyrinth every time, Magic Dance is a Bowie classic...apparently theres a Dark Crystal sequel on the way in 2008
I, too, have heard this rumor.
I guess I should see the first one first.
confession: me neither.
I just it would make for a colorful thread.
plus there's some Jim Henson exhibit coming to SF.
I've never seen Labyrinth.
