I'm teaching a class about latin music tomorrow and was planning on bringing up my mackie monitor and my Microwave box for sound. I was going to use Microwave because I can run mono out of it and would save having to bring up my other monitor. I planned on running my monitor directly out of one of the line outputs on the Microwave box, but it's not working. However, when i plug in a a pair of rca's and go directly to my receiver, I get sound out of that system. Why won't it work with monitor?

i'm running internal mode too, but that probably doesn't matter.

i don't have s.erato in front of me, so i can't check... is the s.erato RCA output balanced or unbalanced?

unbalanced... but you should be fine still. most mackie products accept balanced and unbalanced cables, as long as they are at line level.
