Was your first brew an all extract or did you use any grain? How did it come out? great label.

I will be brewing my first (Dry hopped amber ale) and second (traditional english brown / partial grain brew) beers next week and i am beyond excited about it. Feel free to hit me on the PM if you want to get your homebrew nerd on.

I've been using extract along with grains (purchased from http://www.austinhomebrew.com ). My first batch of beer, the hazelnut brown ale, came out really good. It has a light hoppy and nutty flavor. It goes down really smooth and has a sweet aftertaste. Everyone that has tried it so far has given me great reviews. My second batch, a southern brown ale, should be ready to drink in a week or two.

Nice, glad to hear it came out well. I have high hopes, i am hoping my apartment isn't to hot for the yeast, but i think all should be well.
