What's a resonable price for a photographer?

I need to hire a photographer to take pictures of some work sites. Need pictures for an advertisement I'm designing for the Yellowpages. What's a reasonable fee? Seems like most charge $100 an hour which seems high. Won't require any special lighting. I just want someone with a good sense of framing and a nice camera with good color and contrast.

check your university to see if they have a school of photography. If they do, you'll be able to find someone who may not be a good photographer, but they'll be cheap.

$100 per hour for a professional is not that bad.
