1. Is it just me, or does this track (fortunately in this case) contain a tinge of NYC-centrism to it?

    Seems like most of Slim's non-Swishahouse material has had a NY slant to it... I was shocked that Havin' Thangs used only NY beats...

    And of course his new single is really proving that point

    i dont get whats so new york about it. they've had lots of horn sample beats in the past. still southern sounding drums and lyrics

    i dont get whats so new york about it. they've had lots of horn sample beats in the past. still southern sounding drums and lyrics

    There are Southern style Mardi Gras marching band horns and then there are Northern style sinister symphony horns...[graemlin]if you don't know, now you know[/graemlin]
